Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
I know pandemics are serious, but somehow having the mini's join in the battle makes it a little more bearable.
Giorgi is in charge of finding a location where we can self isolate.
This outfit is from a bulk batch of clothes from AliExpress.
The top is stretchy and fits perfectly.
The skirt is tight and will just barely fit around Giorgi's waist at its smallest point.
However, for this picture I wanted some tummy showing, so the dress is around her hips.
Therefore the back is held together with a couple of stitches and her bum is totally exposed.
Thanks,
scooter

Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
Hey Giorgi. Would you mind turning around for Mr Franz?Mr Franz wrote:Nice, Scooter! Would have been fun to shoot her standing in front of a mirror!
So this skirt does not fit well at all, but I have no issue with that.
Wearing it backwards quickly resolves the problem.
Now those people in the boat are getting an even better view.
Any requests for Giorgi to turn around again?
Thanks,
scooter

Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
I'm glad this thread has helped, Metacog. Keeping our ladies well dressed is an important activity.Metacog wrote: I love this thread! I have gotten some clothes from Etsy and Ebay, which are certainly nice clothing (hand made), but I will definitely look into getting Barbie style for my 1/6 gals. By the way, any clothing suggestions for 1/12 scale?
As for 1/12 scale dolls, you are best to check with the experts in My Phicens Have No Dresses!!
This topic is a subset of the bigger topic and focuses on squeezing our ladies into off-the-shelf Barbie clothes.
Giorgi is my only little doll so I don't have any experience with other scales.
Thanks,
scooter

Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
Giorgi wanted to participate in the April Mini Photo Challenge, so she dug into her bag of assorted Barbie clothes to choose a new outfit.
Tarzan's Away and Jane's friend wants benefits. "Cheeta! Ungawa!"
She picked her "Growl Power" dress.
It stretches so if fit her nicely without any modifications.
It's a sensible dress that hugs her curves without being overly revealing.
Although I did wonder what it would look like a little shorter so helped Giorgi fold it up a little.
Perhaps I folded it a little too far?
Thanks,
scooter

Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
I haven't been around much lately so it's time to fix that.
Thank you Goddess, carlys_guy, and Wolferich for the compliments.
You're making me blush. It's nice to get positive feedback.
Daria and scooter are off somewhere together, so, that leaves me all alone.
It's time to model another Barbie outfit.
A while back we did a bulk buy of barbie clothes for a ridiculously low price.
Many don't fit, but some of them fit me perfectly.
I rummaged around and found this lovely black dress.
Oh. It's wonderful !!!
I love how it hugs my body. Makes me feel like a fashion model.
I'll wear it when I go dancing with my friends.
This silver necklace is a nice contrast to my black dress and black hair.
Thanks for letting me model it for you.
Lets keep in touch.
Always and forever,
Giorgi

Again They seem to be off all the time these days.Giorgi wrote: Daria and scooter are off somewhere together, so, that leaves me all alone.
That's a nice dress.
Allison has some Barbie-clothes too, which were left by the previous owner of her car. Most of them aren't very pretty though. But I guess we can show them, if you're interested, because it seems to fit. That is, when she returns.
Don't forget to take a look at my girlfriend Juliana.
My Lexi visits lots of places. Allison is featuring in her travels. Allison has her own thread too.

Re: Can I wear Barbie Clothes?
Giorgi is really flattered that you like her outfit.
You have inspired her to try on something else.
Giorgi got this dress as part of our bulk buy of Barbie clothes.
I thought it was a Japanese kimono, but Giorgi corrected me.
It is actually a Chinese cheongsam.
We have started a new topic in Eye Candy where Giorgi models the dress and I talk about my new Speedlite Remote Flash.
--> Giorgi and her Cheongsam. Scooter and his speedlite flash.
Here is a sneak preview of a picture that will be posted in the next batch.
Wolferich is the winner for discovering the Eye Candy topic first.
Thanks,
scooter
