As far as I can tell, from the earliest post in the PIB section of TDF, Private Island Beauties' dolls have been gracing the forum for about 10 years now. That's a really amazing achievement given all that's changed over the last decade in this space.

To celebrate the last 10 years of PIB Bathing Beauties (and to help me endure the wait for the Bathing Beauty I just ordered), let's post your favorite images of Bathing Beauties from the last decade. Feel free to share yours! Just note the face and owner if referencing an image posted by another collector.

It’s fun to see these dolls again. They were some of our first. I have distinct memories of every one. Sara and I were up till 3:00 in the morning working out details of casting at the studio. Working with a mold that weighed hundreds of pounds...yikes...how did we do it? Beginning a business during the recession...but, it worked!

Toonist, so glad you and Sara persisted and built your business! Sometimes the path to success results from fighting against the current, and persevering. Everyone tells you you're wrong but you believe in your dream so you make it a reality.

Candice Michelle from Guitar Boy

This was my PIB Bathing Beauty.

Her name was Michelle and like many of my dolls has moved on.









I have lots more pictures of her somewhere but these are all I can find at the moment.

These dolls are insanely beautiful and deserve to be appreciated as the works of art they are.

Whilst in moving they are a fascination, with a posable skeleton and possibly self standing, these creations would be supreme.
