What happens to my old doll album?

Hi I have some questions about my old doll album.
Can I still access it? If not please delete ,whats the point of having pictures no one can see. Old album name Christy C
If so whats the Link? If there is one
Can you put my old album into the new one?

Old Doll Album remains frozen (no uploads) but veiw-able. On new Doll Album splash screen there will be a button "Archived Dolls" that link to old doll album page.

Hi weedman,

I'm very sorry, we've been a bit behind on getting all of the issues resolved on the Gallery update. It's not our intention to eliminate the Old Gallery, just that it is now frozen for updates ands changes. (That side of it is all explained here.)

You'll always be able get to your old albums, and so will everyone who wants to see them.

There are a couple of folks still working on revamping the splash page, but in the meantime I've modified the existing one so that both galleries are now both available from the existing TDA opening splash screen:

To navigate back and forth from within New or Old Gallery:

New Gallery --> Old Gallery:

From within the New Gallery, simply click on the "Archives" button (on the main menu), and you will enter the Old Gallery.

Old Gallery --> New Gallery:

To go back to the New Gallery from the Old one, just click on the "HOME" link on the Old Gallery top menu (I'll be replacing this with a graphic soon). You'll then be into the New Gallery.

I hope this helped to still your fears about losing your old albums.

Do you want us to eventually move our old Doll Album galleries to the new Doll Album or will we keep both Albums?

Hi dwhite601,

I guess that is mostly up to the individual. Folks can recreate their albums in the new gallery if they would like to. But, the old gallery will still contain the original.

So I guess the answer is that folks can do both.
