Thanks. I think Tomoe's face is very special! The Nanase sculpt is quite rare and a lot of people are put off by the little flaws like the bend in her nose, but it might be my favourite detail in her face. It's those little things that really being her to life for me and make her more real than a lot of dolls that are almost too perfect to be true. I also like the shape of her eyes and thick eyelids that are just as they should be for a Japanese lady, but that are often adjusted by many manufacturers for not being perfect enough. I'm not sure I've ever really captured her properly in a photo yet!

Anyone else excited for the remake of Final Fantasy VII?

Tomoe got so worked up, we did an impromptu cosplay of Tifa Lockheart. The outfit was just thrown together out of things from her wardrobe (and some gloves from mine!)

It's still Coronavirus lockdown, so Tomoe also modelled the outfit with her mask.

I did not know a new FF VII is in the making! Now I am excited also.
And Tomoe's cute cosplay came out so well.
I like the blue and green tint on Tomoe's face! It really blends with the backgrounds!
You have good ideas for pictures always!

Thanks TaeYeon. The special backgrounds were just for fun. I used faceapp to make it easy, then I just took those photos and put them through another photo editing app just to add the coloured filters and bring it all together. It wasn't a big photo session. I didn't really expect to get many photos as we were just playing with her outfit really. With my proper camera, I prefer minimal editing, but with the phone, I'll do anything to improve my shots!

Thanks Dees. I feel really lazy snapping pictures on my phone in a bedroom, but I'm quite happy with some of the shots I got. I can tell she wants a proper photoshoot soon though!

Thanks gunsmith. I think her slight smile makes it easier for faceapp to work its magic!

I actually already got my copy of the game. I've been playing it quite a bit (whenever I can wrestle the controller off of Tomoe that is). So far I have to say, I've been really surprised with how good it is. They've added a lot of new areas, story and battles so it feels fresh and new, whilst maintaining enough nostalgia to keep me needing fresh undies for quite some time :haha4:

I looked at the photos with pleasure. I really like the type of Nanase's face. She has her own character and a pronounced personality. Of course, this is a matter of taste, but of all the doll heads on the DS, I immediately singled out Nanase for myself. And now I found her photos here, thanks.
