We spent most of the drive on the expressway. I should have taken more regular roads to watch people's reactions.

Right after that picture I put the car in gear to back up and realized I didn't strap her in. And you are correct, the seatbelt did improve the view!

Thanks Medeski, I spend a large part of my day doing that shoot but I enjoyed every unrushed minute of it.

The doll ladies do seem to get along great Wight. That photo shoot with the bright back lit window was a challenge for me. Now I want to figure out a way to get some outside pictures of them basking in the sun.

The dynamic range of a digital photo is much larger than what is shown first hand. In back-lit photos I often study the shadows/highlights adjustment afterwards. It's best used sparingly because many times the photo begins to lose feel and authenticity. But some pics do benefit from it. You can even salvage doomed shots back to life.
