It seems absolutely ridiculous that you need to go as far as to bring in a paediatrician as an expert witness about a sculpted lump of silicone, but I guess that just goes to show how insane this whole process is. Sounds like a really smart move, but unfortunately the law can often be deliberately deaf and blind to anything it doesn't want to hear or see. Let's hope thats not the case this time.

If it were me I'd be tempted to try the whole "Guess the age" game on the prosecution and judge - use images of Japanese pop idols and ask them to guess whether the idol is over or under 18 on looks alone. Because I can tell you that its almost impossible to guess this correctly. Just look at idols like Miku Tanaka or Nako Yabuki who are both over 20 but look like they're still 15.

Good luck Phil. Wishing you all the best 🤞

Pretty sure the assessment will be on Western appearances rather than Asian

Its a Piper Akira doll, so the appearance being judged is that of an Asian doll aesthetic, not a western one. They might try to apply western standards to the ruling, but they shouldn't and thats the argument I'd be trying to make (amongst others).

So the paediatrician will be an expert witness to the professional opinion (due to the Tanner scales that he is using - shout out to Anung over that) that Akira is an adult female, and both myself and the customer are likely to be questioned over this, so we will see what will happen.
But given the amount of delays, one might expect another, but this is due to be the grande finale.
Cheers Phil happy that we could help there and WOW, OK so they have destroyed the article that would have allowed objective assessment..OK that opens the door for every overly adult image you guys can get for the model in question as your evidence to refute the prosecution judgement..they can no longer produce the article to contradict your evidence now.

Best wishes..stick it out and sue them. Anung

PHIL WINS!!!!!
Piper 150cm small breast now legal in the UK!!!

I didn't win costs, which is a shame, but money well spent.
There was @Agimp , Me, and the Paediatrician, who all gave BorderForce one up the arse today

It's a good day to be alive.

That’s good news, an end to a fiasco that’s been going on for far too long. It boggles my mind that in the 21st century, you can get prosecuted for what is essentially importing a lump of moulded plastic. So much of the human race is still in the dark ages sadly.

Fantastic news, Phil!

Hopefully that has now created a decent precedent.

Best wishes.
