Here are two of Mrs. L., who resembles Jihan's doll Elle in France.

Striped Dress
This dress is identical to one that Rebecca has except that this one is a slightly larger size.

New gallery:
Time Machine
On the subject of time travel, I came across an edition of the low-budget television series Sapphire and Steel, in which old photos become real (sort of). What it lacks in logic it makes up for in the weird nostalgia invoked by old photos.

However, I recommend it only to serious fans of Joanna Lumley, at that time still in her prime. UK television at this time was sponsored by the government in an attempt to reduce the birth rate, so you need to set aside a whole evening for this gigantic program. (Demographic data shows clear spikes in the birth rate nine months after each of the big power outages of that period. I digress...)

I do like this dress,...
Looks more coffee colored than brown and the black lace sets it off nicely.

I have the whole set of the New Avengers on DVD. Some episodes were truly epic, including the one made in cooperation with the RAF. However, Joanna Lumley's outfits were better in Sapphire and Steel, in my opinion.kharn wrote:I liked Joanna Lumley better in the New Avengers.
It has shades of purple mixed in with the coffee brown. I bought it new from a mail order catalog in about 2001 for Rebecca, but it is too big for her really.playtime wrote:I do like this dress,...

It is fun to visit other dolls, and Alektra's Castle provides more opulent surroundings for photos than the teashop, but it is great to come home to my other dolls.

Just a thought, when dolls (with AI) will get the power, they will blur their faces when posting their pics

Mission Planning
The third photo (Mission Planning) is my first photo using an indirect flash unit on the camera. It requires manual setup to match the settings on the camera. Kharn showed me how to do it. (The instructions that come with the flash unit are perfectly useless.)
