Hey fellow ITD160 owner here, havn't dropped in the forum for very long time. Glad to see ITD160 review, majestic as always.Pussy69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 1:22 pm Performing Surgery on Natsumi Shoulder joint tightening
So basically after 2 or 3 days of receiving her I started to notice her left arm was drifting away from her side, but ignored it b/c she could still very
much pose with her arm lift upwards. But it became a bit bothersome laying in bed beside her b/c her arm/hands would stick out to my right side as if
she was trying to push me out of bed LOL.
It is very coincident (or not?) that mine also have loose shoulder joint (now aged 6 months) but I'm decide not to operate her yet.
In your surgery image, you should have cut a longer line along the parting line (for easier repair, and wound will be cleaner)
And after applied the glue you should wrap around her arm with kitchen plastic wrap and leave the wound for 24h.
But what's done is done, let's hope that we don't have to cut open anything to fix again.
BTW here is ITD160 S24 Miyuki The only regret I had was not choosing the "softer" option on the breasts.
(For those who not aware, there is a secret option called "softer", but probably with trade off with durability and bleeding)

I'm thinking of just storing her in the box.

I want to say since your companion is 6 months in that could be more of a natural arm loosen, but then again I feel like there's not enough double checking of the joint stiffness at the factory. Natsumi's arm got loosen within 3 days of moving her on the bed for photos and 2 missionary sexing. So I'm assuming the shoulder joint was getting undone when raising her left arm for positioning.
I really wish I did a better job on the cut, I was having a hard time locating where the joint was since I'm a complete noob opening a doll to boot lol
So now the aftermath of the sealed cut looks like a small birthmark or a tattoo on her shoulder. I might be able to just put makeup on it to blemish the outline after more cleaning there.
The softer breast and ass would have been fine options to choose now b/c of how IT completely protects our dolls via shipping. Dolls with a softer body bits typically need to be hanged when not in use
that is only best way to preserve their softness compared to gel. With gel you just need to avoid having the doll applying pressure on those bits for a long time which pillows can help with that.
But don't worry the firmness of our dolls is what prevents them from easily getting hand mark pressure an such. A 2nd doll I would definitely go the softer/weight reduce build.
@DocDx7
The box she comes with is fine since the sleeping bag + the foam will keep pressure off her butt. Or you can place a pillow under back/waist to keep the weight off her butt.
Thats what I do to have her sleep in bed all week - as you can see in the recent pics her butt still looks the same no deformation Also congrats on your companion arriving soon I know your very excited
to have her after such a loooong wait.

Ah thank you it was a struggle to get it on her due to how thin the dress is, but was all worth it lol. At least I’m 100% certain of her dress size now.

The dress actually fits her perfectly she generally wears a Large for tops. Since it has stretchy material I didn't have to force it on or anything. The side straps made it abit challenging b/c theyjust a guy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 3:39 am which part are tight ? I know these dolls have different size than humans like the waist area is almost always smaller than in real human. Was the dress like in her size overall, but was tight on some parts and which ones ?
would get tangled trying to get her arms through lol. But for pants she would need XL or a stretchy L like yoga pants since her waist is pretty wide.

Re: Natsumi Unboxing Overall Review Lots of Pics (Irontech 160cm Silicone)
So my Irontech quickly developed a loose right elbow joint. I had a Starpery that needed a repair in the past, so Starpery sent me their silicone repair glue kit (one bottle of some white solidifier and one bottle of peach colored silicone liquid) and it worked perfectly fine on their doll. I also used it a week ago on a Zelex that I needed to tighten an elbow joint on, and it worked flawlessly there too (solidified within 8 hrs, fully cured in 24hrs). Yet, for some reason, that silicone repair glue kit refuses to solidify/bind to the Irontech silicone (even after 24 hrs it's completely liquid). I have no idea why the glue works on the other brands but not Irontech's. Do they use a different silicone compound? I'll ask my vendor for a glue kit from Irontech, but I'm so confused as to why it doesn't seem to like or work with Irontech's silicone.Pussy69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 1:22 pm Performing Surgery on Natsumi Shoulder joint tightening

So as usual my faithful vendor Sue from Rosemary arranged a silicone glue kit from Irontech to be shipped to me. I took about 2 weeks (I have it now)
and just so you know this item cannot be shipped with your doll. Sue sent me images and a video demonstration how to operate on a doll shoulder joint.
I must say after my 1st attempt I panicked, but pulled it together for Natsumi's sake.
So how did the surgery go?...... well my 1st cut attempt on her back shoulder was the wrong spot, but luckily the glue is doing its job to mend it as if I never cut it.
The 2nd attempt was the correct location to find that shoulder joint as you see in the pics. This is what Irontech Evo joint looks like since I know other brands can look different.
So if you plan to buy an IT doll they will all look like this if your shoulder joint gets loose. An interesting note here I did see that there was some sort of white protective guard sheet over the skeleton
which probably was the reason my 1st cut failed thinking it was the joint.
Even so Natsumi is doing fine now I successfully tighten her left shoulder joint back to normal. She will have slight scars and small dents from finger pressing(I think they are removable) I will need to research on how to fix that I think warm water will help. Her arm & waiting on the silicone glue is the reason I halted doing any pics for poses, so this weekend I can make that happen.
Tools I used were a 17mm wrench and a plastic fork handle to apply the glue.Found that pesky loose joint

Yeah its better to get Irontech's glue since the material they use may not be compatible with other silicone brands. Irontech is pretty generous tho they sent me more glue plus body paint and even super glue for the nails was a bit of a bonus. Although you can use silicone glue for nails too it worked for me.Corpius wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:56 pmSo my Irontech quickly developed a loose right elbow joint. I'd say give it another try, but you may need to get something to keep that cut closed with abit of pressure. Even with IT's glue it took me several attempts to close the cut on her back shoulder. But what did the trick was having a roll of duck tape(The actual roll not the tape) to prevent the skin/cut from separating. So basically the cut is in the inner circle opening of the roll while each side of the roll is keeping the skin on both sides of the cut pressed to help the mend seal effectively.
This is totally optional its just something I had to think outside of the box since using tape wouldn't be able to hold silicone material anyway.
