Your impressive organizational work would have been a bummer. It is quite nice being able to get sets out and not search for days. Always love behind the scenes treasure.

Thank you funke, yes, I am glad it missed us, but sad others lost everything.

Thanks Misty! Yes, and it has been a real improvement in locating and getting pictures done. I did all 3 of the monthly's (A,B and E) in 2 days including putting everything away and still did all my normal stuff.

Today my oldest daughter and youngest (13-year-old, boy am I old) granddaughter came over along with my other daughter with her husbands pick up truck. We got my old 3-wheel beach cruiser out for Cora. But first I made my oldest do her daughterly duties and dress my dolls!!

The evolution of a character and how fate has a hand in some of these creations. It has been many years since I bought that POS snap/lock Elf Doll. Impossible to pose, won't stand and so quirky she is not fun. Found her when I was organizing the collection (what's in this box?) and said, "Off with her head" and ordered the new tall animi Phicen body. Then when I actually got the body, so what's the point (as you can see, she still has her head), it was, yuck, won't look good! Now what to do with this body. The suntan version has many options (Jasmine is an example) but the pale is not easy to find. I actually used the tiny head of the new firm body, and it was a good fit. Then I eyed those horrible Elf sets (metal, belts with buckles, won't stand and everything falls off and break if they hit the floor. I stared at her while looking at the body and a light bulb (old style with filaments) went off and so 2 wrongs do make a right. Soon to be the lost Princess of the Clover Leaf Clan (just happen to have a left-over outfit and a special green cape with fur on it).

Thank You ShadowFun! I decided to instead put the dress on her from the snap/lock doll. As to the other one in the set, the Brunette, I also gave her a new body. Meet her 1/2 sister and bodyguard. Eleana (same Dad, different mom 'It's good to be the King').

My other favorite newest body from Phicen is the S52/S53 dolls. But for whatever reason there is no A and B (headless) versions. Still the truth is the head provided is way to small for the firm (biggest over all body so far). This is resolved by getting a S24A or S25B, and get the right sized head for this magnificent body!!
