Have you found yourself a helpful "first day"/"newly wed"/"honey moon" thread to help with your day 1 washing, oiling, etc.?

So, let down once again. I doubt my doll will ever get delivered at this point. :/

The closest distribution point is apparently 2 hours away. So, the window they can deliver in is outside the window I can accept in. Most likely zero chance I get it today and now I'm going to have to find out what other ways I have of picking it up myself I guess. Won't know more until delivery group calls me back and who knows when that will be. I give them a 6 hour wide window and they can't hit it. WTF is that shit?

My girl arrived on Monday. The 3 week wait was fucking brutal! Congrats on your new doll. She is worth the wait.

And Sp0ngeWorthy, I totally get the frustration with delivery. For the first doll I purchased (I started off with a 6YE 65cm mini doll to "test the waters" first), I never even received a tracking number until AFTER they attempted delivery

, so the first time I even realized she was already out for delivery was when I saw the FedEx door tag after coming home from work. Things are never easy, I swear.

Good news update. Persistence pays off. Finally got to talk to the local supervisor and he agreed to let me come and pick it up. She's in the back of the truck now and heading home for an inspection and cleaning. Woot!

My wait is (again) almost over. She should be here tomorrow or tuesday at the latest. I don't know why but now I'm feeling a bit more anxious than thursday. Like butterflys in my stomach...
