Re: 125cmCustom added spine joints for much improved flexibi
IMO it is a definitely plus point you shared with the industry Bandit! I couldn't thank you enough.
Here are the factual reasons:
- You increase the enormous variable poses the dolls can do into even more variable poses. This allows more ideas put into poses for photoshoot that could even be implemented in the fashion industry.
- You decrease the likeliness of metal breakage from freeing the load from a more longer frame into a pulley system
- You allow the user for more positions for calmer settings for the user
- You allows twisting in the hip joint which in my opinion is more anatomically correct. A rigid long frame destroys a possible imaginary hip which all humans have
Kudos to you brother for this ingenuity!

She can bend backwards and forwards to the extreme like a contortionist can and twist very far! Maybe not so much from the side to side but I've not tried to be honest!siliken wrote:DB, does your mod allow lateral bending like in the first view below?

Also, Are there any of you that have this option on your dolls that care to comment on the modification (both good / bad) and whether there are any durability or longevity issues it may have caused?
Thanks!

This thread might help. http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 46#p747746Alex Young wrote:Apologies for resurrecting such an old thread, but its directly related to a question i have... Namely, is this option for added spine joints for WM TPE dolls still available? (I am specifically thinking about the newer 100cm Riley doll.) If so, how much would it add to the doll's cost?

I haven't seen complaints about the flexible spine feature. All WM's 125 cm and taller dolls have the feature.
