Is this a scam or real, i mean this must me too good to be..

Post by wntic »

Hi

Is this a scam or real, i mean this must me too good to be true isnt it?

I'm looking to buy a doll for my self and there is a seller on ebay selling this doll,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161027203033&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

Now i found the doll on alibaba as well and it says what he is saying, but i cant be that cheap can it?

http://www.alibaba.com/product/guolia65-139065551-0/100_full_silicone_sex_doll_for_man_32kg_sex_doll_free_shpping.html

Any information on this would be a great help!

Hi tom aka wntic,

first a warm welcome to TDF from me :)

second, about the sale you posted, I completely agree it is to good to be true.
I can see that the picture is from Stacy Leigh, so the doll in the picture is certainly not the doll who is up for sale.
The only way I could think this is legit for that price (£1,295.00) is that someone wants to sell a somewhat RealDoll pretty quickly.
However the description says "brand new" ... so, well, I cannot imagine how this could be true .

The reseller on alibaba: definitely scam, stealing pictures made by Stacy en masse  and the price is not something you can get a full sized silicone doll for.

P.S. I disabled the links in your post - we do not want to give these pages any traffic. If someone really wants to see the sale, copy & paste it in your browsers location bar.

Unless I am completely mistaken, this is a RealDoll2 with the "Michelle" face.
I thought I have seen that very picture here on TDF, but I cannot find it yet; anyway here is another great picture from Stacy shot in the same session:

There is much more info (and pictures ;)) in the RealDoll2 forum.

Anytime you see a $6,000 item for sale for $1,000 new that is a red flag. Many people sell cheap blow up dolls on ebay but use the photos of $6,000 dolls in the ads. Even if you pay $1,000 most likely you will get a $100 blow-up doll from the seller. When in doubt check here as we love going after these scammers but as most blow-up dolls do not look anything like the girl on the box it is hard to fight that the item does not look like the photos. I think that is the grey area defense both ebay and the scammers use, a blow up doll is not going to look like a real woman or the girl on the box, even if you thought you were bidding on a Real doll. The shipping weight on an item is a dead giveaway too as if the shipping cost are low the real doll would weigh close to 80- 100 lbs in a crate to ship Vs a pound or two for a blow-up doll.

If is looks too good to be true, then it isn't. I was a victim of a scam on aliexpress. Aliexpress and alibaba is FULL of scams, about 90% if doll ads are fake. Sites are not moderated, after filing a complaint my scammer still sells fake dolls.
