would anyone have the slightest clue as to when Abyss will offer a huge discount?

They already had their big sale back around June and July... THE BIGGEST to date. They probably won't have another one until next year at this point. However, you can either call or send an email to Amanda at Abyss Creations to answer that question.

Indeed, like Dollarhyde said, they had a $1k discount on all the Realdolls in June and July, including the Wicked ones. Which was, as far as I know, the biggest discount they ever did.

Maybe, with some luck, they'll have a discount during next years AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) in January.

But I don't think the discount will be as big as the Summer deal they had...

great, thanks! I will keep an eye out for it. I wanted to do that $1000 discount but I wasn't ready at the time. I'm in limbo between buying a house and a WD.

Buy the house first then think about toy's. Depending on where you live there are some great deals out there right now if you have the cash, this is a buyers market and will be for the next several years until they get this economy straightened out.

I agree, actually, I've done the same... first bought a house, then ordered a doll

You can live, sleep and enjoy yourself in your own house, but you can't live and sleep in a doll... you need a house for that.

I also noticed the wicked webpage itself is almost never updated.

Wicked owners quick question: is the head attached on body or can it be replaced?

The skull is attached, like any other Realdoll, and the skin around the skull is glued to it. Only the front is partially movable, to remove the mouth insert.
Removing the head will not be easy, but it can be done.
