great work and photo's CharlieWone , how dod you do the fingers ? i am suspecting that you simply had the fingers in straight position one by one and run the wire into them from finger tips then seal up the end of finger tip depending on size of the wire , if this is all you did you''have to be cautious about wire poke. again great work on what you have done , and also to patrick on the posable legs etc.

Thank you Timetraveler, I know you are always tinkering with something,
it's a habit of mine also. You're right, I inserted a wire from the tip of the finger,
thru the length of the finger and about an inch or so past the top knuckle, into the meat of the hand.
The trick was finding a wire that was stiff enough to shove all the way in, yet soft enough to bend easily.
I ended up using two steps. First I used a really stiff wire and shoved it all the way in, then pulled it out and inserted
a softer and just slightly thinner wire into the same hole. The silicon pretty much closes back when you pull the first wire out,
but it creates just enough of a pathway, that the softer wire will not kink up when you insert it. You're right about finger pokes,
but I made a loop at the end of the wire with needlenose pliers, and when it was all the way inside the finger, I not only repaired the end with silpoxy, but slathered the loop end in silpoxy before inserting it. When the silpoxy dried, it encased the end of the wire and glued it to the inside of the finger. This keeps the finger from being able to be stretched away from the wire, like you were pulling off a latex glove. My fix is by no means comparable to the fingers that come with wires in them, but I know to be careful, and it keeps them from flopping around like they used to. Nicer for posing also.

well at least i figured out part of your method that makes me feel better knowing i still have something upstairs lol. i can see why you had to use that method about the two seperate wires , again great job you are an inspiration to others . it's alway's nice to see what people can figure out and come up with.

And a quick update, with the stiffer necks in place my two Bathing Beauty bodies
are much easier to have in girl on top positions, the head stays intact, even as
she rocks and bounces, no worries at all

CharlieWone - yes, the Cleo head will work for the larger Bathing Beauty doll.

It's funny, because, at the begining, I was not really convinced by the Cleo head, maybe is it due to the fact that I was more attracted by one of her previous version (the one before the penultimate). But, each time I take a look at her, I'm more and more convinced by her!! I discover some subtilities in her face, her expression, that I had not seen yet, and, now, I find her very charming! Plus, she reminds me Gabrielle Anwar, an actress that I particulary appreciate (but you're right Rainlover, she also has something of Nathalie Imbruglia...

)...
My guess is that this face is prone to easily become what his owner see in her... More than other faces... At least, that's my feeling... But, clearly, I doubt that in the future, we will see the 2 same Cleo faces
