cannot edit any of my posts? - RESOLVED

For some reason I am unable to edit any of my past posts or current ones , I was going to correct one of my frequent spelling mistakes only to find there is no lomnger a buutton to edit ones posts.

I guess this is a feature; people cannot edit their own post after some while.
This has been introduced to avoid the phenomenon where people edit or even remove their posts from an older thread,
thus possibly destroying the context of the thread and making the replies to that changed / removed post hard to understand.

However I thought moderators still can edit posts, for whatever reason, so I agree that is odd indeed ...

rentell, what was the timeframe of the posts you were trying to edit?
