Wicked Real Doll Skin Shininess?

Post by shotakong »

Hey guys, I actually was wondering if the skin on these dolls was shiny like the RD1 and RD2 or if they were some what textured.

Anybody know the answer?

Actually none of our dolls are shiny anymore; we've been using a dulling spray on the dolls for about a year now that eliminates the shine.

A spray? I wouldn't think that would last too long. Wouldn't bead blasting the inside of the mold be more effective? It would give dolly's skin a more natural appearance, be more durable than a coating and easier to produce, as they would come out of the mole already "de-shined".

Just me inflation adjusted two bits..

Actually, I'm more interested to know if this spray is for sale and/or if it can be used on older dolls as well?
