Meanwhile, Mechwizard: I really like those pics. Very sexy doll, cute story, and nice job on the background (great thing about miniature dolls, that one mustn't commit an entire room to create unique scenarios). Just curious, is she a redhead under that wig like the real Cassandra Peterson?

Re: Elvira Mistress of the Dark
I originally thought that this Tonner body style was fairly inflexible, but they can actually do a lot.
I've heard the Oak Ridge Boys song, you can download it from the Elvira site. But unlike Cassandra, this Elvira is a brunette, and care is needed because if you succeed in unravelling this head of hair, it ain't going back together. I like the touches Tonner does with their dolls, such as the studded wrist bands and the big ruby in her ring.
This one is my favourite among my small dolls.
Re: Elvira Mistress of the Dark
Nicely done Mechwizard, she certainly is a lovely woman and as you say its the little touches with Tonner.
And you mention more ..... how many more I wonder........another collecter I suspect..
And some close ups of the face would be nice please, and your right I would not want to mess with that hairdo, how do they do it in the assembly of these dolls.

Re: Elvira Mistress of the Dark
Like Lara Croft, Elvira's is a special head sculpt for this doll, but they only made 300.
The eyelashes aren't painted, they're real glued on, tiny thick lashes.
You can't tell from the photo but the hair is styled with all the whorls and waves of Elvira's wig in miniture. I suppose its all held together with hairspray or artist's sealer, which is much the same thing, only in a different can.
