Does Tayu doll have any problem or downsides?
Re: Does Tayu doll have any problem or downsides?
My Tayu is in fantastic shape, but well, she's a virgin still so maybe I'm the other extreme from the one with such a tough history.
As mentioned above, it's good to have another doll. No matter how careful you think you're going to be, you will make doll mistakes. You want to learn stuff the hard way on something other than a Tayu.
But if you can afford it, pull the trigger. Tayu are fantastic!

Thank you for the link . but I did not find any Tayu on that site, is Tayu called something else in Japan?lightfootted wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 5:10 pm 2 more cents:
- when curious about durability of a brand, go to rdooll.com. It is a Japanese reseller that includes pictures of pre-owned dolls. 90% of the Tayus that come through their catalog look better than comparable dolls of other brands, with ONE exception: Tayu dolls with removable orifices. A large number of Tayus seem to receive really bad damage in this area.

As tryingthegames helpfully noted, they are known as “ArtDoll” in Japan, I apologize for the omission!Jugo wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 2:24 amThank you for the link . but I did not find any Tayu on that site, is Tayu called something else in Japan?lightfootted wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 5:10 pm 2 more cents:

drbalaramjones, I'm really sorry your doll broke after only one year. I too wore my doll out after a year, different brand though, almost all her joints are loose and the lips split just like yours.drbalaramjones wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 6:02 amIf u want my 5 cents worth, do your best to handle TAYU with care, but sooner or later it may break or start having problems e.g. losing colour, tearing etc; that's my experience with my TAYU 148cm QingZhi -- who's spine snapped in under 1yr, lost/losing colour, floppy wrists, tearing at wrists so the skeleton's visible, eyebrow hair coming out--to some extent, although I'm surprised she's retained as much eyebrow hair as she has, and the latest: her tongue came off/out i.e. detached from mouth, so now it's just a mouth hole). But my silicone 148cm TAYU D+cup QingZhi doll's lasted longer than my 148 cm tpe AS doll: silicone's more durable, it seems. I recommend simply cleaning with antibacterial disinfectant wipes. Don't know where u can find posts on TAYU maintenance (sorry I couldn't be more helpful)
If you decide to decommission her, please post a few shots of her skeleton, it really helps people who need to repair their dolls.
