Re: Painting Dolls
She bears a striking resemblance to the little mermaid in Copenhagen, doesn’t she? Maybe a little more lifelike…baphometric wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 3:43 pm Nice tree pusher!

Re: Painting Dolls
Thanks Treepusher! Beautiful statue. No doubt, Disney's Little Mermaid was a big impact on my psyche as a young lad and influenced my redhead kinkTreepusher wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 9:47 pm She bears a striking resemblance to the little mermaid in Copenhagen, doesn’t she? Re: Painting Dolls
Thank you, Philippe, for the kind words yet again for these efforts. Of course, if I had any real ability, I’d be doing straight photography without the gimmicks! As it is, I enjoy seeing how these turn out, and pleased you take the time to look at them.
I do appreciate it!

Re: Painting Dolls
Again, beautiful portraits of Sandy !!!!
I like especially the last one as it has something different, her expression I guess but also the colors you used (necklace, top and background).
Great job !!!!!!

Re: Painting Dolls
Thanks as always, Philippe. The last lady is actually a different doll! Her name is Andrynn (a nameless orphan—father was Andrew, mother was Lynn, no last name on the note pinned to the abandoned baby’s blanket, and no other information. Had to call her something besides ‘hey you’, hence Andrynn). She grew up, became a beautiful woman, made her way in the world and eventually came to live with me.
She’s been away for the winter—skiiing in Aspen, I believe—and just arrived back home in time to get a shot or two of her, one of which was painted and posted here. Glad you liked it.
There will be more of her.
Appreciate the kind words and visit!
