OK, finally got to it. Here's the entire timeline (probably more information than you wanted...):
PLACING THE ORDER:
11/25 I placed the order (with XTdoll through Rosemary Dolls)
It was acknowledged by RD on 11/26.
PRODUCTION:
12/6: XT sent me pictures of the head being built. It was in the painting stage at that point.
12/8: XT sent me factory photos of the head. Both heads, actually.
However, on that day, they also found that the quality of the doll didn't meet their standards, and had to start making her again.
12/6: I asked if it would not be too late to get a new feature they had just released, the "Interactive Feedback Legs" (springy legs that should feel better during sex...)
So, they moved the body that was built for me to another customer, and started mine again, this time with the new feature. So, this was actually body #3 made for me...
1/3: RD informed me that she was done, and they sent factory photos. I looked at the photos and videos, and had a few questions and requested a few additional photos/videos.
1/6: they sent additional factory photos/videos for me of the whole doll. She is beautiful! I was told that in a few days, I will get shipping/tracking information.
1/9: I got a message that they found something wrong with the batch of "Interactive Feedback Legs" that included my doll, which was already made. They had to scrap those bodies and start again (Body #4...)
1/18: RD sent me updated factory photos. This time, they sent very detailed photos and videos, so I had no additional questions. I approved shipping.
SHIPPING:
1/22: they sent me the tracking information of both China Post and UPS. As it turns out, the China Post information was for the free cleaning set. Not the doll...
1/26: they told me that the doll package has arrived at customers and will start customer release "tomorrow" (not sure if they meant Saturday or next next business day, which would be Monday). They said customs clearance should take 3-5 days.
2/4: I noticed that UPS had cancelled my request for the package to be held in a customer service center. Not sure why, I requested the hold again.
2/5: UPS acknowledges receiving the package and gives a delivery date of 2/8.
2/6: UPS indicates that the package is on its way. Estimated delivery 2/8 between 11AM and 2PM. Frankly, at those times, even if they don't hold and instead deliver at home, I'll be here to accept it.
2/12: They actually delivered it at my home (even though I asked for it to be held for customer pickup...)
