So I used this lens once before on my old Canon and well there was no room in the entire house
to move back in order to get a photo lol.
So to make this clear before I post the photo , This is not something I recommend for someone
with a Micro 4/3s or Crop sensor camera lol..
I was bored and wanted to see just how high of a focal range I could go with Medium Format inside the house lol.
Now my main medium format lenses are 65mm,75mm, And 150mm.
One can take pictures with any of those lenses for the most part in most medium to smaller sized rooms in there house
when using them on a medium format camera..
This lens is actually a older 1970s Vintage film camera lens ..
Those where created to slightly overlap a full frame sized film photo..
When digital came out they created what they called a Full Frame sensor that happens to be around the same size as
your older 35mm film cameras..
So technically speaking this lens should cover a full frame digital cameras sensor
. But what happens when you put this lens on a really large sensor lol.
Apparently it covers pretty much all of the sensor with very slight Vinette or darkening around the edges..
The lens is a 1970s Vivitar 200mm Prime fixed focal range lens..
Its aperture if from 3.5 to like F16 or something lol.
I shot this at F3.5, ISO 100 and shutter speed of 1/125.
The lens has a minimal focus distance of 6 feet ..
I was about 10 to 15 feet away and shot this hand held
I used just a basic fun dish style retro looking on board flash unit on the top of the camera..
The results are pretty darn good
. Fun to research , Fun to chat about and fun to test and see if they work ok or not
