The joint was way too tight and tryed to bend it but.. too weak skeleton I think (not a standart strong one).

Thats a nasty one. Been there, got the T-shirt.

well documented and well executed procedure. Not sure I would have had the guts to do something similar in a situation like this. I just hope that I won't need to consider such an operation.

Well at least, looking at this post, I would have a handbook on how to do it.
