obstacle traveling tracks for stand up doll

although far fetched, a rubber track base system with rechargeable larger battery and sonar system and brace in the back that supports a stand up doll , capable of moving slowly and avoid obstacles and can be programable , like the new roomba? vacuum cleaners . doll can travel around in rooms .

I hope you would program some sort of mapping other than the Roomba algorithim that is programmed to bump around hitting things until it maps out your floor plan.
