Will adding piercings to my TPE doll damage it?

I wanted to add a few lip and ear piercings to my TPE head and I need to know if long term it has a chance to rip/tear or if it's pretty safe. Thanks!

There are chances if handled carelessly, but my doll has had piercings in her ears and nose for 2 years now and it doesn’t harm her. The only advice I can give is that there should be a good supply of material left, so choose your jewelry carefully.

I have seen nipple and belly button piercings on dolls several times. It does look attractive, but I can't help but wonder if they'll tear with regular use. Not something I've tried, but maybe some day.

Everything about dolls is based on Handle with Care
Wouldn't use Copper or Brass based jewellery though, at least not without testing first

There's no harm in it per se, as long as the earring composition isn't harmful to TPE. TPE doesn't play nice with copper and brass for instance. Personally, I prefer clip-on type earrings. I'm always afraid I'll snag the pierced ones when combing my gal's hair.
