Happy Birthday, MIDI!

Fun story. Way back in early 2013 I decided it was time to take the plunge and buy my first dollI. After I expressed interest in seeing a doll in the flesh somewhere here on the forum, Midiman and I exchanged PMs about the US based TDF doll meet that year. I had a lot of questions and we exchanged phone numbers to discuss in more detail. It was awesome to finally have an honest conversation with someone about what is a real passion for many of us. Midi was essentially the first doll guy that I had the pleasure of speaking to. A couple months later we met in person at the meet. That weekend changed my life lol. I met so many great people and even more dolls. Deerman, rest in peace friend, was the first to shake my hand and his doll Erika was the first I ever met face to face. So many great memories.

Midi, thanks for reaching out to a clueless new guy back in 2013. You helped me get started on an awesome journey, and I remember you fondly for your encouragement and willingness to help. Happy Birthday!

Thanks VickyLover for starting this thread to all those who have posted or may do so after my post.

My wife is throwing me a party in about 30 minutes time. Dispite my turning 70 I have my two oldest cousins (brothers 92 and 87 and my brother 80 attending...all with strong minds and bodies.

Thanks LDV for the story. So much has changed since I did my documentary and partnered with Kharn on taking the reigns of the TDF in 2009.

Therre are porobably a lot of members now who don't know Midiman as I tend to use Bianca becasue Kharn said she has more charisma and is more even tempered than I am

.

These have been great years for me and I have attended no less than a dozen Doll meets including our west coast meet and Vegas.

I remember doing the Anderson Show in New York on my wat to one of our east coast meets.
I have a lot of good memories.
