Love this doll....checks ALL the right boxes!!! just one problem......the feet are only 7" long (20cm) Does anyone know if Starpery can custom extend the foot to 22CM? (8-8 1/2") There are NO high heals for US size 3!
That's a good question.
Just keep in mind if you're in the market for a new silicone doll, don't order the hard silicone, standing-without-bolts feet if you're really into putting heels on your doll, which it sounds like you are.
The hard silicone feet don't bend, making it difficult to place in a standing position while wearing a heel with a deep pitch. Make sure you order the regular standing with bolts feet.
Glad I read this. This is what I've been trying to find out, thank you. Was about to make a mistake before ordering since the "no bolts" is a free upgrade at the moment. I plan on always having her wear heels of at least 4". Am very close to ordering but things like this I want to be sure on.
Very interesting posts!
tacones lejanos showed a good technique for making his doll Sue wear high heels and storing her standing up (even though she is probably quite heavy). Dsstealth or dollicious2 have also developed techniques to make their dolls stand on very high heels. In my opinion reading their threads is a must for anyone considering making a doll stand on high heels.
My interest in this doll, along with any other Starpery product, is done until such time they can give a simple answer to a simple question regards packaging and protection.

Sounds good, but a link to their posts I think is needed, otherwise I will remain un-enlightened.

If you type their username into the search engine (quick links > search >...) you will find them. And by clicking on their username, you will easily access all of their threads
Babel99,
That's great feedback. I also believe that you are not supposed to keep the hard silicone feet dolls standing for extended periods, unless someone from Starpery can comment on that I won't do it lol.
I've had my 165G stand overnight a few times while I wash my bedding and such...as normally she's kept in bed on her back. I have had her stand for two full days twice recently, and without any damage to skin, feet, or skeleton. But I would never go any longer than that.
