If not, what's your opinion?

Sadly, spending a lot of money on a transaction is no guarantee that you are going to get the highest quality available for that price. Some companies just want to steal from their customers. Other companies will charge more for the name brand and status symbol, hoping the customer won't notice they are paying more for a lower quality product. The auto industry has MANY examples of both.
Getting a higher quality, more reliable, or more longer-lasting product often WILL cost more, but knowing which companies can reliably provide those better products is often the point of websites like this one.

Silicone is doing ok body wise, but penetration still can cause a tear despite it being an expensive sex doll. If we are going to pay high price for better quality I think we need to find ways
to make everything more durable for sex in the same sentence.

You have to show in which way you are better, tpe softness and durabiliy, skeleton, makeup longlasting, weight reduction,
customer support.
Only to say the quality is better isn't sufficient.

When it comes to quality expectations, there are a few metrics that can be used: features, durability, after sale support (warranty) being the big three. You can break down features into a lot of sub-categories like; appearance, skeleton, innovative materials, weight reduction, customization and many more. But they all add up to one thing - "something better than the competition". Durability should be obvious. pay more it should last longer and be more resilient to damage.
After sales support is one that tends to get overlooked though, it looks like at least some percentage of doll owners are repeat customers. So if you don't help a customer when there is a problem (eg: something breaks, or they need replacement parts, or just have questions) do you really expect them to buy from you again? Good after sales also means owning mistakes/problems and being open about them. If something fails don't try to cover it up. Try to fix it so the customer is happy and they'll write glowing reviews about the after sales support, and that wins you customers. It also means checking out reviews and feedback from customers to improve your product.
As for the buyers... I'm 100% sure that some people just want a cheap toy, and at the same time I'm 100% sure that some people are willing to pay a fortune for something amazing, and again I'm sure there are people who are somewhere in between. There is more than one market. To me the question is which market do you want to cater to? Realistically there is probably more money to be made in the low to mid range market because that's where the bulk of sales would be. Per unit profit might be lower than on the really high end, but if you sell 100 dolls compared to 1 or 2 then you make up for that. That said, it's probably worth making at least a few high end models for the prestige effect.
Video cards are a good example, Nvidia make "halo" cards that cost a fortune but the vast majority of gamers can't/won't buy them because they cost too much. But the "prestige" for the company from having the world's best video card translates into more sales at the low and middle end. This is because people associate the brand name with the awesome halo products, even if they're getting a mediocre, middle or low end one.
Personally, I'm in the middle. I just don't have a huge amount of money to spend on a luxury item like a doll. So I try to get something that's mid range. I wish I had the money to buy the Rolls Royce or Ferrari of dolls, but I have to settle for the Toyota
