exmachina etc. type custom dolls
with tpe etc. cut out of a area and using led fiber? string lights etc . inside place tubes in arm area etc. creating a exmachina , etc. android looking sci fi female doll.
you could add clear tubes etc. and leave the regular tpe , silicon skin in other places . i wish a doll company would create something like this they could even have a opening battery pack somewhere , that a person could put in batteries ,turn on the led lights with controls , streaming lights, changing color , streaming changing color . on/off. same with head , like ex machina . and using the led string lights etc.
anyway it's an idea .

It would be great, but I can understand it will be difficult to make a body that pleases everyone.
3D printing seems to be one of the main ways to be able to make several different models.
I have noticed there are several projects made by individuals that have started, but I haven't seen the outcome.
I hope in the new year I can get into printing what I want.

That said, you could certainly go for a cyberpunk type look and that would potentially make integrating robotics (like the moving hips, sucking vag, etc) easier to access. Like you say you could leave access panels so it'd be possible to change a battery or replace components. Heck, you could have access panels over major joints so it's easy to access them to tighten/loosen them too. As for lighting, there are tons of wifi controlled LEDs available that are controllable by phone app. I'd go that route.

Re: exmachina etc. type custom dolls
There are many reasons I love these looks.
Main one is longevity. I see these huge dolls with large everything, made with soft tpe. Guess what, in a few years, gravity wins and it degrades and rips apart. I want one that will last beyond me.
Now, I hear some of you saying, well that's why they make them like that so they can sell more dolls. My reply, fine if you afford that, the softer dolls feel great but they don't last.
I've seen cyber bodysuits. I've made a few body shells to come close. Even made a cyber girl from a broken sm elf. Saved the head. Made a new body by hand sculpting form foam. She's only 25 pounds. Fully poseable. Yes the head is operational but I have other dolls for that...
She holds a Google Assistant so I can have a face when I ask her a question. Keeps me company in the kitchen. Stands on her own because of her weighted feet.
My next one will be more advanced.
I know that these looks will take off but only if makers and vendors see threads on this topic
with a lot of comments and pictures of ideas.
So please post if you want to see cyber dolls made.
