SEPTON™ 4055 by Kuraray is a styrene ethylene ethylene propylene styrene copolymer (SEEPS).

Now, when in comes into contact with another hydrocarbon compound such as he hydrocarbon formulation in Latex, the co-polymer molecule sharing bond finds a lower potential molecule in the latex matrix that it then looses is electrons to, this the bond in the tpe begin to fail as the latex gains the electrons of the tpe matirx co-polymer molecule bonds. This is the basic very laymen summary, so astrophysicists and chemistry professors, dont jump in and complicate things.

You will notice this as a greasy type sweat on either surface.

Hey as it looks as you are a brain at chemistry how bad is it to use condoms? Those are often latex based? For which material should I look at buying condoms?

Generally I have had no issues using the durex brand and ansell. Both are latex based, but again I used a water based lube called wet stuff, and the exposure time is not hours or days. I find the lube also tends to limit chemical interaction, but have noticed that the latex condoms can show signs or wrinkling after longer sessions...but they now are limited as fitness levels and health prevent marathon dolly interaction sessions.
