Live chat not working?

Hey all!!

New to the forum and was hoping to schmooz with you all but unfortunately the chat comes up as page not found. Is there a way to make it work or a discord I could join?

That is strange, as currently several members are in chat.
What link did you use? We'll look into this.

Okay, I already know ...

Because of some past issues newbies are restricted from our live chat.
Still, it should not say "page not found", we'll fix that -well, it's on the back-log now

So best is to get these newbie restrictions lifted. That's quite easy, you only need five posts being approved. May I suggest to go to Eye Candy, have a look and tell us what you like -and why (one or two word posts are not approved).

Anyway, welcome at TDF

Oh, yes, some time ago we restricted access for new members and added an error page. That got lost during the upgrade. Fixed now.

Hello everyone. I have another issue with the chat. It says that my username does not exist and can't find a way to register. Is there something i'm missing ?

There is no registration for chat, users from the forum will be created automatic. Just log in into TDF and click on the Chat button or link on the index page.
Never saw or heard about a message you describe.
Please explain exactly what you did and please provide a screen shot of the error page.

Well i did all that, logged in here, used the chat button and nope, i do not exist. I tried the log-in by filling the username and password to no avail.

@SaumonGravleux, problem fixed. You should be able to join chat now. If you still get the error message please clear the cache.
