HELP! please, hand skeleton repair 6YE
HELP! please, hand skeleton repair 6YE
Anyone else having problems with their lady's fingers breaking? I own the 6YE 163F.
I'm considering the hand replacement skeleton by MF Creations. You can see it here:
https://mfcreations3d.blogspot.com/sear ... 20Skeleton
The problem is, it was designed for the wrist joint found in WM Dolls (and some others). But I don't know what 6YE wrist skeleton looks like... is it a ball joint or a "clevis" wrist joint like WM or Irontech. See attached picture.
I bought my lady knowing that this would be a problem. Wire based hand skeletons/fingers are the worst.
Thanks.

I'm glad 6YE has a plan for better hand skeleton.
That picture is still hard for me to tell how the wrist joint is made.
Any chance I can purchase this hand skeleton from 6YE?
Man, I wish that was an option when I purchased...

The interior of dolls is assembled from Universal spherical joints, stainless steel metal bones
This would include the wrist

This is it!! Thanks Nouchi!!!Nouchi wrote:viewtopic.php?f=383&t=128756
I suspected it wasn't ball joint by the way it moves.
This means I should be able to fix her with MF Creations replacement skeleton without modification (fingers crossed)!
I'll hold off a couple weeks, see if anyone else has input, plus I still have to purchased the parts etc.
I'll document and share how it goes.
Best.
