Yvette gets a visit from her sister, Daphne (Youyi head+145)

Out of curiosity, I purchased a larger Youyi head on the DF Marketplace to see how it would look on one of my 145 bodies. While the heads for the larger bodies are certainly larger overall than the heads for the 145, they do seem to have some variation in the size of their actual faces. The Snowy head, for example, seems like the face would be small enough to look all right on the 145 body. The Youyi head, however, does have a face that's also on the larger side, so it's just a bit too big to really work very well with the 145 body. But, she's still kinda cute, so I thought I'd do a shoot with her even thought she won't have a permanent place on my second 145 body.

Here's Daphne coming in to visit her sister, Yvette.

Thanks for saying so; I think it helps that Daphne's dress has a lot of volume, so it makes her little body look a little bigger and more proportionate with her head.

Thanks, gogo! This was my first time trying to stand up one of my girls, which I haven't done before because they're both loose-jointed. I'll experiment with it more in the future.

I did not know Yvette has small sister Daphne!
They are very cute together making cuddling on couch^^
They have nice clothes and I like Daphne's sandals!
I also like Daphne lying with head in Yvette's lap. I also like to do it like this^^

Yes, Yvette actually has two DS sisters! They are Daphne (Youyi head) and Darya (Li head). They have to share the same body, since I have three DS heads, but only two DS bodies. But, Darya is really the one who uses the body almost all of the time, which is why Daphne was just "visiting" here, haha.

I'm glad you like their outfits and their cuddling poses. When Yvette is not in my bed or cuddling with me, I like to sit her next to one of her sisters and have them cuddle with each other because it looks so cute!

Has the Evo 145 a way to hang the doll with wire through the head as the old 145 had?
What problems were had the finger wires in your earlier 145?

Yes, the neck bolt on the Evo retains the same design as on the standard, so you can screw on the hanging bolt that fits inside the head:

I tried this hanging bolt on my first 145, and it worked well as far as supporting her weight. But, I found that I didn't really like using it for photography because you can't tilt her head for poses with this hanging system in place. Regarding finger wires, my first 145 also had non-wired fingers and loose joints, since I wanted her more for cuddling than for pictures, and I didn't want to risk having any wire breaks or finger pokes. So, I can't personally speak to the durability of DS's finger wires, but I hear from other members that they are one of the more sturdy designs in the industry. I want to get a 163 in the future, and I'll likely get her with wired fingers to see what they're like in person. Are you planning on getting a 145?
