head wobble
head wobble
166cm head is a little wobbly.
Things I've tried:
1) removed 'quick release' pin and using full threaded pin
2) white plumber's tape on threads
3) got a garden hose gasket/washer thing on there
Anything else work?
Thanks!

If the M16 quick connector bolt is used correctly it should not wobble. You can adjust the tension of the bearings with a hex key/Alan key from a hardware store, a basic metric set is cheap. Adjust the bearings until BOTH 'pop' when you place the head on (this is easiest to do when the threaded end of the bolt is already tightly fitted to the doll). Getting the right tension may take several tries. You can also screw the bolt into the head, not the neck. Doing this is fine and will not damage the doll when the head is fitted carefully. Smear a little vaseline on the thread, screw the bolt in, do NOT touch the face after handling the bolt you will get dirty marks. To tighten use a large flathead screwdriver, again a basic set from a hardware store is cheap. If the bolt is fitted correctly you should not need tape or hose washers.
This is what I do and it works perfectly.

Adjust the allen bolts til you're happy
I always have my quick connectors screwed in to the head,
It's much easier changing heads that way
God I hate the screw head fitting

There's little allen head grub screws on the quick connectors (2 of them) play around tightening and loosening them until the head fits perfectly,or as perfect as ypu can get it

And yeah I'm using pop-on connects.. I had the thingies calibrated but there was still a tiny bit of space between the threads where it screws into the neck.. the tape fixed it
