What happens to an Aichan if it freezes?

Just like it sounds:
I looove my Aichan, I should have gotten it years ago!
I live in Minnesota and it gets COLD here in the winter, and the best place for me to store my toy long term it’ll get below freezing. I don’t want to ruin my aichan if I store it improperly! I have several kids and I’d rather not have them find it and the only place I’m 100% sure they won’t run across it, will be below freezing all winter.

A lockable container kept inside, that way you can move it around to avoid flat spots (when the kids are asleep)
