The vast majority of doll heads are androgynous. It's a matter of face-up technique like eyebrows, blushing and lashes. Sometimes, the materials of one company's product will not be chemically compatible with another and a slow reaction may damage one or both parts. I'd recommend to try to get whatever head you like with a body from the same batch, they will also match color better that way. It can be difficult to make a man doll look mature anyhow, unless they have some sculpted stubble or you add something to resemble facial hair. I've not seen that in a male TPE yet.

I have the "Alex" doll. On the SL site, Alex & Alexander are the same doll. The only difference is that the Alex doll is manufacturer photoshoots (and very femme at that) and the Alexander is actually MY doll, I took those pics.

I also have the "Patrick" doll (I call Dylan).

The first male doll, the 'Randy' doll - I have as well but with the Cole head (which I totally redid the makeup of).
