She’s based on the 168 plus classic DS, I know she is one of the most popular of all DS Dolls.
Sculptured for 2020, take on the original flagship doll with new head to match Summer.

Not an EVO so not to get confused the Ex Summit is still to be released. Latest update in the next couple of months for the Western markets for sales.

They are just facilitating all the advance release orders on the pre launch earlier this year.

That video is very sexy. Superb to see an actual model on which a doll is based. And those robots in the background. WOW!

DS have turned up the heat. The interesting thing of course, is as member esquireallure points out but the skeleton of DS dolls really is particularly poseable, and has been the standard to which other manufacturers have only been able to aspire.

When I saw this was a new 168 I was hoping it had some EVO or Summit style upgrades. So it's the same body? Some have been waiting a long time to see this classic body get an upgrade. What improvements on the body have been made?

She still looks delectable especially in white polka-dots, one of my favorites!

The new Summer has different body and face from Evolution bodies, there is also an upgraded skeleton.
The make-up and full body has a real skin colour in the painting processing.
There is also a real human hair implant option too.
I will update the thread once I have more details on the skeleton.

It will be interesting to see what this lady is like. Certainly her forerunner gained acceptance on the realism front when she decided to explore London. https://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/2770

but from the standing photo of the Summer it looks as though her legs have been improved and she's slightly less skinny.

Whilst each of my toy ladies has produced top rate photos, here's my favourite for the forerunner D168+

A very exciting development.

By the way, with other manufacturers I have asked for an assurance relating to the sourcing of real human hair. Please can you press DS on this subject? Whether we get the truth out of any Chinese manufacturer or not we'll never know but at least we can raise consciousness.

Yes the real human hair option is something we have talked about my friend I echo your belief.
I do think she is going to be a new addition to my collection too is Summer

I think the release is very soon, DS will be updating more information on the new skeleton too, this I cannot wait to hear, very exciting.
