Post by Jj2345 »

Hey,is there a way to paint/color our faded dolls lips and nipples?
Doesn’t anyone know what the manufacturer uses? Thanks

I use normal makeup on my Tiffany (a TPE girl).

I use normal lipstick on her lips. Once it dries in it seems to last a while.

I've found that powder makeup can be applied to nipples to bring the colour back. You choose the colout you want.
You can then make the nipple colour semi-permanent by then applying some vaseline to the nipple area.
Once it soaks in and dries, I've found the colour lasts a couple of weeks - depending on how much attention you give them!!!
I think this is a bit better than using permanent markers or ink pens (in my opinion).

For the lips i am using a cheap lipliner

On the right you can see the results vs the factory on the left

it can be removed very easily with baby oil.

I use regular lip-gloss myself. Apply, let set for a few hours, blot, you're done. Works for nip touch-ups as well. Lasts for a week or more depending on use and is easily removed with baby oil if you make a mistake or just want to change the look. Some prefer powdered make-up. Same application technique. I believe that's what the factory uses only with the application of heat to set it. Not something I've ever tried though or would recommend unless you know exactly what you're doing.

If you're looking for something more permanent, Chartpak markers work extremely well, but beware, there is no margin for error! Once applied, it's on there and will not come off for a very long time.
