black dots on newly bought WM TPE doll
black dots on newly bought WM TPE doll
I got a few black spots on my newly bought doll. It's on the body and head.
They are nothing major but i want to know if it is troubling or if it is normal. (I hope it is not mold ?)
The dots seem to be inside the skin and not the surface so cleaning with a bit of soap and water didn't do much.
(Looks like i can't upload pictures of it yet, i need 5 posts right?)

However it may be something completely different. Most stains are removable with mineral oil (baby oil).
My theories may change, when you upload your images.

Trying to clean it did not make it worse? as in spreading, making it bigger? I'm thinking if it were grease, it may spread some. If mold, try a drop of hydrogen peroxide on it. be gentle in any case, do not want to damage skin.Dummz wrote:Hello everyone !

As long as it doesn’t start abnormal growth I wouldn’t worry.
Seriously, it looks like a stain of some sort.
It will fade away over time, or you can ask for them to send you some stain remover.
Bottom line though, I wouldn’t kick a ass that nice out of bed because of a mole!

Yeah i think i am a bit over worried about her since she is my first doll.
I like imperfections so it doesn't bother me at all

but after soap n water, i'd rub some mineral oil into it, sure couldn't hurt.
