A while ago I had bought my first doll and have been starting to feel like I needed an upgrade after hitting my learning curve of doll ownership. 6ye dolls have had caught my eye due to the high quality pictures of the dolls so I placed an order.
Head/face. 10/10 the factory pictures didn’t due justice
Tpe quality. ?/10 I’m not sure how to gauge this since the tpe is so vastly different from my first doll. This tpe seems lighter and at least 200% softer then my first doll so I’m gonna hope it doesn’t get the skeleton punching holes through it but it might have a better stretch ratio. I’ll update later with my thoughts. The tpe has some what of a fruity smell.
Skeleton: 10/10 this skeleton blows my old doll out of the park. Everything moves so smoothly and stays in place.
Cons: I’m in talks with bcd to discuss some of my concerns.

Congratulations on your new doll!
And thanks for the first customer pictures of the 164D.
But what are your concerns, would you mind to elaborate?
Life is a strange game: "The only winning move is not to play." Yet here I am, dreaming about reality again...
They said they were adding the bolts to the feet before they shipped so it can stand but clearly have not. I occasionally have people come over to my house and need to be able to store the doll in my walk in closet but can't do that if it can't stand in the back corner. Also it was supposed to have shrugging shoulders but that also doesn't seem to be possible.
Ahh that's a shame. Good to hear about the softness though. I'm surprised you went to a 46Kg doll after stating how heavy your previous doll was, how are you finding the weight?
Honestly the weight isn't that much of a difference. The 6ye has better joints so moving her to pick her up is easier and the way the weight is distributed I honesty can't tell that she weighs more. Honestly it feels like she weighs less cause she is taller and the weight is more spread out I think. I put the two next to each other and her portions are much more human adult. I can't wait to finish the feet and try some different outfits.

Any more photos of your lovely, lovely 164D and her adventures about the house ?
I'm sure many of us are intrigued about her legs and want standing scenarios (me included, of course)
Congrats!
I'm definitely looking forward to see more pictures of this doll.
So, you ordered a doll with standing option and got one without it?
Did you make to hole in the TPE as shown in the above picture?
Usually, there are 3 holes (and bolts) by foot: 1 at the heel, 2 at the front. I suppose this is still the case with this new model.
The whole was there already from making contact the plate and the end of the Box on delivery. I just looked inside to see if it had the pre-drilled holes for the studs
