Holding The Moon
I only took a couple of photos, due to a combination of tricky exposure settings, and a general lack of time. But they came out ok, I think.

Me want!
Awesome
Re: Holding The Moon
Thanks, I'm going to try and take some more pictures when I have more time and patience - her fingers are not well, and there was a bit of trickery with sewing thread suspended from the ceiling to hold them in place... I've got several shots at different exposures, I wanted to bring the detail out on the moon, but a shorter exposure leaves Lynne in the dark. Obviously a longer exposure blows out the moon... will perhaps try and do a bit of image layering in PS when I get time.mexdl wrote:Nice idea and great lamp!

I got it from this place, I think they make them to order. Curious to know what else they do!Dollyman25442 wrote:Where'd ya get that lamp?

It's a cool lamp and affordable too!
Re: Holding The Moon
I've got these (slightly tidied) photos to show in the meantime, they're a bit lighter than the previous ones!

Fix.
Re: Holding The Moon
Maybe you schould try a HDR (high dynamic range) Software. You need three or more photos with same ISO and aperture but different exposure time.Muninn wrote:... I've got several of each pose in different exposure lengths ...

Might have to give that a try, never played with HDR before. I've got a range of exposure times to play with. Any suggestions on which software (or Photoshop bolt on if available) is good for a beginner?Tsall wrote:Maybe you schould try a HDR (high dynamic range) Software. Re: Holding The Moon
A few years ago I tried Luminance HDR. But only for one photo.
I also heard about Photomatrix and Lightroom 6. Both never tested.
