My new doll:
DS 160+, Kayla, green eyes, long brown hair, loose joints, no finger bones or nails.
Down payment on July 13. Ready to ship on July 24. They made a minor cosmetic alteration at my request to suit my exact preferences, this took another few days. Shipping took 6 days.

Then I spent a few weeks looking at pictures of the 160+, in which she gradually grew taller and taller in my mind, and I fretted that maybe she was too big-breasted, etc, and began to worry while waiting for manufacture and shipping.
Day 1:
Then she arrived, just the right size, and my worries about too-large breasts vanished: plenty to fill my hand without being overly huge. And very nicely soft. This picture shows the size of my hand for comparison.

The soft silicone of this DS doll is soft enough that it is actually better than my original plush fabric doll. And has enough internal firmness throughout the doll to avoid being a limp marshmallow.
The thigh, for example - just the right amount of firm thickness, comparable to actual human muscle, surrounded by a layer of sensually soft skin that is just wonderful.
The padding on her butt is a joy to feel, just as fun as her boobs.
The doll stand I ordered with her works quite well at hanging her for storage. I particularly like the hole through the head for hanging her with.
Night 1:
I am a 6-foot tall desk worker. Someone who is big enough to pick up things, but not particularly strong due to spending most of my life working at my computer. So it is not surprising that the weight of this doll is just heavy enough to be awkward at first. I also needed to learn how to move and position her skeleton, so the first night was something of a learning experience, but quite fun all the same.
I have owned a Fleshlight and a few other onaholes that were decent. The DS insert is better.
I am also now motivated to become strong enough to pick her up with ease.
Night 2:
The practice of Night 1 has paid off. Having a sense of which way to pose her so I can pick her up and put her in a new position meant I could maneuver her weight and size with much less effort (and soreness the next day). Her mid-spine joint in her waist is absolutely useful for posing her and assisting with various positions.
Day 3:
I am still startled when walking into my bedroom and wondering who is in there. She has fooled me about a dozen times so far today, sitting in a pose that looks instantly realistic. Her loose joints are just stiff enough remain seated without collapsing, but yields to a light push.
Conclusion:
When I ordered this doll, I had hoped for some modest improvements over my previous dolls. This doll has so far exceeded my expectations in every category that I am dumbfounded. The only question I have left is to see how durable she is, for she has been here only a few days.
The skeleton's poseability, her beauty, the softness of her skin, how good she feels as a bedpartner, her light weight for her size... and all this for the price DS Dolls sell their doll at? This purchase was worth every penny I spent. I no longer believe that others were exaggerating about this doll.
As you can see from my description, I bought her almost strictly for her utility in my bed. However, she is taking on something of a personality every time I look at her, and I can feel her becoming more of a companion than a toy. This did not happen with my previous dolls - the combination of realistic beauty, poseable eyes and skeleton all come together just right.
Her name is Karen, and she is wonderful.
