My sincere condolences.
This is so sad.
All the best to you, family and friends.

I wish to express my thanks to all of you who have posted. Dealing with the loss of PB has been very difficult. And , although, my Husband was ill for a long time, it still felt like a blow to know he is no longer breathing and on the earth. It's a bit harder in a way because my life was intertwined with his in many ways.
I appreciate the good wishes and also the fact that many of you have been so supportive during both deaths.

My cat, Sky, is a real trooper. We are in strange territory-she's used to being outside and can't be here unless she's on a harness. PB taught her how to be on a harness and she's doing quite well. She is touching my heart as she seems to sense she needs to be cuddling with me a lot.

When someone you love dies, it's amazing how sorry you feel for yourself. Missing their voice, their touch and their way of looking at things. I have conversations in my head all of the time with PB. Thinking about the advise he would give me and it helps. My Husband didn't have much of a mind left the last few years , sadly.

I'll be on when I can. Much to see to. I understand I can pick up his ashes on Wednesday of next week.

My condolences. It is true that you can still hear them and see them in your mind for months to years after they are gone.
I still see traits of my mother in my own daughter that will trigger a memory. For me it has been over 6 years now.

Shimu, So sorry to hear of yet another loved one passing and so close together too! You have my support and the members here on the forum during your time of sadness! It's going to take time for you to heal from these events so hang in there, were here for you!

Condolences to you. So sad when a loved one passes. A huge change of life in front of you, for sure.
Take support from those who offer it, let those who want to help, help. Through these offers of thoughtfulness passed loved ones are remembered and honored.

Its good to hear you have friends to help you at this time and your cat to give you much needed support.

We look forward to hearing when you have everything sorted out and are back on your feet, I know a death in the family can throw you but one so close can be a serious blow.

Thank you. I am still amazed at the caring I am getting from the Members here. Losing PB and my husband within a month has been , well, difficult. But I am soldiering on , as they say.

Hi Friends,
I haven't been on much as things have been very busy and difficult for me right now. I am holding my own, though. Much is going on, but I'm trying to remain calm and just "work the problems". My life isn't all sadness, though.
Thank you to those staying in touch. It helps. It's a nice community we have here.

I am really sorry to hear your loss. My dad is going through alz and I have an idea on what you have gone though. It's hard being the care giver but it's part of love.
