Wow. Thank you so much for sharing this with the forum HF. John was a special person to so many of us. A true ambassador of our community. It is wonderful that his family understood and accepted how important dolls and the forum were to him. That, and the outpouring of condolences to his family; speak to the caliber of person he was. I think go need to hold Tasha and dry my eyes.

Thank you HF. I'm sure your presence at the memorial was much appreciated. It is very kind of you to help his family with his dolls.

I have been in touch with one of John's daughters. She knew of his dolls. She's into collector dolls and understood John's dolls.
Me and Kharn talked to her a few times on Skype. That was maybe a year ago, when she was at John's place -she helped him with computer trouble ;)
Recently she informed us about John passing away. Just when Kharn and I were a bit worrying that John was not around for a little time.
As said, John was part of our community, we will remember him.

From all the messages posted here, he sounds like a wonderful person to have known; for my part, I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to meet him and "sit under the learnin' tree", so to speak.

I am so sad to read this news. Deerman was one of the nicest people in the doll community that I ever met. He will be missed.

RIP Buddy :(

Deerman if not was one of the very ones who kept me always coming back for more. I love making him comics
and showing off all my girls for him and seeing his reaction to them. He had such an impact here on The Doll
Forum and made lots of great friends. I am truly sadden to hear of this and hope for the best for his family
and close friends.

Deerman, night or day you will ALWAYS be our brother in arms!

Aw man, I loved that guy. He was such a good dude. Been away, and I just got the news. Known him many years, one of my buddies and my party crew...breaks my heart.
I went indie once, I got a cool hat and a whip..I kinda liked it...but I had these giant boulders chasing me everywhere a lot, and so I had to give that shit up.
