FIngers broke on doll

i didn't have my doll for more than 2 weeks before her fingers broke. The chinese manufacturers use the cheapest worst copper wire for the fingers. Usually copper wire bends alot before it snaps. I repaired it by cutting open the hand drilling the mandle and stuffing the wires in the drilled holes and adding superglue to the holes and copper. the wounds are sealed up using soldering iron. but now her fingers are shorter.

I'm really sorry to hear you had such early onset of damage. It sounds like you've performed a decent repair though..

This statement paints all Chinese manufacturers with one brush stroke, which is unfair and inaccurate. There are some Chinese manufacturers who are using thicker and better quality wires recently.

I'm a new member here and I have made the same expirience. I have got at 27.12.2017 my YL 150 O Cup
doll after a few movements of the fingers all fingers at both hands are broken.The quality at this point seems
to be very poor.

I have a WM 156cm and the same thing happened. I'm too nervous to try the repair on my own.

I always try to avoid bending fingers, and certainly bending sharply, at all. The least the better

It's important to use the wrist bend as much as possible also.

in my case the problem was not the bending of the fingers, the problem seems to be the flexible bracket in the middle the hand. The fingerwires snaps out of these brackets, afterwards one half of the hand with the fingers is dangling around without function.

What doll had the problem of the wires coming out of the hand plates? I heard of another doll having this problem some weeks ago.

Hi SHB. Well, it's good you dealt with someone who's approved here. You can share your experiences the manufacturer and it will help your credibility to have purchased from a legit vendor. If they(Jinsan) hear more complaints from more new customers like yourself, they might feel compelled to make improvements sooner. I would contact SSD first and see what they say.

Thanks. This is the vendor - what brand is the doll? Which is the manufacturer of your doll advertised by SSD?

I am on friendly terms with manufacturers and draw problems to their attention, suggesting improvements and trying to encourage all to raise quality continuously. It's for this reason that I take interest in reports of damage such as this and to which manufacturer's design attention might usefully be given attention.

I agree with the approved Vendor, but the reality looks different. Unfortunately I have got a doll with very poor
quality, after three days my doll has lost the function of thumb,fingers and toes at both hands and feet and the movement of the left ankle joint ist limited.
I have discussed this issues over weeks with SSD but you are getting no after sales support from SSD if you have a problem or an reclamation.
Then afterwards I contacted Eric Wu from YL directly and told him the issues I found together with Sophie/SSD (thanks) a low level ageement.
At the end of the day I have a hardly damaged new doll definitly bought by the wrong vendor but hindsight is
easier than foresight.
