TPE glue solvent

Post by aggopian »

I bought a TPE rapair kit when I got my doll. The solvent, though sealed, has started to dry up and thicken.

What would I use to thin it?

Thanx

Just get a new repair kit if you need it. Don't try to save spoiling glue.

Just like you wouldn't keep expiring silpoxy, permatex, GE Silicone II, etc.

Do yourselves a favour and get Indigo20's Cold Weld Diffusion adhesive. It works. Forget the solvent, it's hit or miss at best.
There are threads about it on TDF somewhere.

Here you go...

My 'e' key is getting sticky, so now and thn words may look a bit odd.

actually ordering some today, to try and finish up a labia enhance job for Tessa,
plus i noticed there's a factory repair using the solvent and i'm wanting to do complete rebuild on it...
as in cut that out of her shoulder and replace it with a fresh piece of TPE, from the sample. so that she'll (hopefully,) not a scar on her.

something i noticed...if you use the solvent...you can't heat that area to smooth out any flaws...
where Indigo's lets us smooth this out with heat...

another big selling point for any one who want's to fix it and do it right.
