Synthetic Wig Cleaning

Larry’s kankelon wig needs to be cleaned. Someone had mentioned, or I thought they did, that you can successfully clean a synthetic hair wig with a conditioner and water mixture? Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
So far, I dipped the wig in the mixture and moved it around then rinsed thoroughly with cold water. Now it is hanging in my shower drip drying.

Most of Hadleigh's wigs are from Wigsbuy and are synthetic. They recommend a similar method with shampoo, then either hang or blow dry on low heat/warm. I've been using Pantene Pro-V "Classic Clean" without no issues and her wigs are as soft, color-rich, and vibrant as the day I pulled them from the box.

Thank you, Rock! I use the Herbal Essences, like I use on my own hair. I also heard somewhere that you can use fabric softener and laundry detergent on synthetic hair wigs too? I just wanna make sure I'm doing this right and that his long hair wig won't fall apart, LOL!

I think that most laundry detergents that are color-safe would be okay for a synthetic wig, but they might be a bear to rinse out because they're more highly-concentrated. I prefer to use shampoo because I often use hairspray and also mist the wig with fragrance mists, otherwise I'd probably just soak them in warm water to remove dust and let them dry.

I use shampoos and conditioners specifically made for synthetic wigs. One brand is "Brandywine". Not sure how it is different from regular shampoo for human hair.

Thank you Out_of_Sync! I’ll look for it at my local beauty supply store. I think Larry’s long hair wig should be dry by morning as I checked on it a while ago and it is nearly dry already.
