Whoopsie. Not at all that simple.ColColt wrote:Well, the adhesive came today. I suppose you just put a bit with the brush on the back side of her where it's come loose and her head where it goes back, hold together a certain amount of time(10 seconds, 2 minutes?) and you're done...hope it comes out ok.
Read the info that came with the kit. You must do prep work with baby oil first to achieve results.

I was under the impression the baby oil prep was required for all the cold weld repairs (but perhaps Indigo could chime in?)ColColt wrote:I read that and it was a bit confusing as it was under the heading of areas with "stressed TPE"...armpits, elbows, knees, etc. This is not a stressed area(ear) so, I'm not sure if I should add any baby oil or not-or, just brush on a bit on both the head and ear and press together.

BUT, if you have the ear bend as we can see it in the picture you made, then you have material stress exactly on the connection / line between ear and head.
Do not do the repair with the ear in that position.
How to do the (simple) repair:
- Place the ear in the correct position.
- Lift the ear a bit with a tweezers
- Apply the cold-welding adhesive beneath the ear (maybe you have to take a longer brush)
- Place the ear back in correct position
- 8 hours curing time
That's it.

I understand that you want to do it absolutely correctly, please do not think so complicated.
Be cool , that's an easy repair.
