Just curious, what is the shelf life of this product?

I posed this question to Indigo when I was ordering and this is what his reply was-

"The diffusion adhesive does not come with a so called "shelf life".
The evaporation is extremely slow.
The diffusion adhesive lasts forever if the amber glass container is closed."

Cool, thanks for the reply.

BTW, have you used it yet, and if so, how has it worked?

I haven't received it yet. Ships from Germany. Takes awhile.

I have used some of this weld and I am impressed.

It works best on "perfect injuries", where the surfaces are smooth and flat, and as we all know we can't exactly order injuries to happen according to plan. However, even on surfaces that are uneven this product seems to hold the best of the methods I've attempted.

I am working on the holy grail injury: crotch repair. It is difficult due to the very long prep time and cure time involved, and the need to make sure the area does not have any residual moisture, say if I had just cleaned out the cavity. Got to give it plenty of time to completely dry or it seems the liquid interferes with the process. Which makes sense, just means the kind of repair I'm trying has a lot of extra care and steps involved.

But dang, if you follow the instructions Indigo lays out, it works just like he says and shows in his videos.

@ CinnanonLover:

Thank you very much for sharing your experience.

For the crotch repair:
Please keep the legs of the doll closed in a way so that the incision is closed.
>> you are the one, that has to open the incision manually
>> never apply the adhesive in an incision that is opened by itself = material tension = uncontrolled enlargement

Open the incision with a medical instrument (hook or spatula) or a cross tweezer.
Apply the diffusion adhesive with a long brush first in the depth of the incision.
Use towels on the doll so that no drop of the adhesive could damage the doll.
Work in small steps and do not try to weld the incision in one step.

Make 1 weld, let it cure, open the legs and see, if you made it to weld in depth.
Work from the depth to the surface, step by step.

The "long" curing time (8 hours) of the adhesive has 2 reasons:
- That is the time for the polymerisation = new and additional polymer structure is build (good things take a while  )
- I did not use a compatible solvent to enhance the evaporation, thus the adhesive lasts forever as long as you are closing the container after use

. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

The diffusion adhesive is available at these vendors:

Dolls France (FR)
Mon Amour Toujours (US)
Booty Call Dolls (US)
Dollstudio (GE)

Sandro from Dollstudio made the decision to sell the diffusion adhesive only in combination with the purchase of a doll.
You can read this on the website.
At this point I have to say. "His shop, his rules, his decision."
And I'm only the manufacturer.

In his weekly summary, Sandro made an announcment.
Please follow the link and see under 5) Test customers wanted!

Yes working with Sandro on that to find a way around import hassle issues for Australian private importers (we get fee raped until am method for up front GST at checkout can be found), and looking to work in some potential AUS based TDF approved vendors as AUST distributors.
