Hypothetically, could you tattoo a doll?
I was wondering, how would either TPE or platinum silicone react if you tried to use a tattoo gun on them? Would it work? Would the needle puncture the material, but the ink not hold? Would the ink stain the surface of the doll or bleed into the material turning the tattoo into a smeared blob-by mess? Would the needle even be able to pierce the material?

Use temporary tattoos you transfer with water. If applied correctly and to 'clean' material they should hold well. Obviously applying to a high traffic area will yield less long term results.

Henna was going to be my next question. I wonder if anyone has ever tried it before?winterwarBo wrote:Quinn has had this butterfly on since at least May. Its a cheap temporary tattoo. I have thought about Henna tattoos..

They indicated they went through a lot of trouble developing a ink formula that would work and would not divulge the formula.
Now, I have seen silicone body parts for sale on eBay for tat artist to practice on. No where have I found any mention of needing a special ink to do this. Maybe std ink will work for practicing but soon fades, runs, etc? Then the practice part gets tossed.
