Dagmar broken hip - only after one month!

I was about to write a month-in review of my experiences with my Dagmar doll which were, at least up until an hour ago, happy.

I'm not sure what it was that caused this as there was no audible noise to indicate something had gone horribly wrong but her left leg "femur" is completely detached from the hip and the leg is now only being held on by the inside foam structure and the outside nylon-like stretchy skin.

I knew I'd expect issues with the doll in about a year's time based on others' comments and experiences with their dolls but after a month? I'm wondering if I got a lemon?

Any help is welcome and appreciated!

I've done that and they are waiting to hear from the factory. I suspect I'll know more tomorrow (Monday). Thanks for the tip, Mr Franz.

I noticed most of those dolls have legproblems. Usual the get loose very quick. But a total detach is rare. Have you hesrd anything yet from the factory? Im very interested what they have to say about it.
